About

Return to Jomon. Return to yourself.
Step beyond the pace of modern time,
away from the noise of everyday life,
and remember who you truly are.
Here, time flows a little differently.
Not rushed.
Not forced.
But gently guiding you
back toward what feels true.
Create.
Rest.
Play.
Breathe.
And softly, naturally, realign.
1 Day Jomon Experience

A mindful day rooted in earth, breath, and ancient wisdom —
where you slow down, reconnect with nature, and gently realign body, mind, and spirit.
2Nights 3Days Jomon Retreat

2Nights 3days retreat to savor the 1 Day Jomon Experience more slowly, more deeply.
Through gentle movement and the awakening power of sacred sound,
you will prepare and share plant-based meals with gratitude,
nourishing and cleansing the body.
You will walk a path carried by love and gratitude,
a way of being passed down since the Jomon era,
and weave together meditation, prayer, and quiet ceremony.
Within a calm, unhurried, and comfortable space,
the mind, body, and spirit naturally return
to a balanced state that feels true to who you are.
Rental Spaces
Nestled in the bamboo forests — like stepping into a scene from a Studio Ghibli film, or traveling through time into another layer of Japan.
Jomon Matama and Kaguyatei are not operated as accommodation facilities. They are offered as retreat and rental spaces for intentional gatherings, shared with care and respect.
Kaguya-tei

Kaguya-tei is a fully furnished tiny cottage nestled beside the bamboo forest.
It is offered as a private space rental,
primarily for retreat participants and related intentional use.
Jomon Matama

Jomon Matama
is a large pit dwelling inspired by ancient Japanese architecture,
featuring a traditional reed-thatched roof.
It is offered as a space for retreats, group gatherings,
and programs that invite a deep shared connection
with nature, presence, and one another.
It is offered as a retreat space rental, not as an accommodation facility.
Using the Spaces Together
Kaguya-tei and Jomon Matama may be used together for small group stays, allowing for a natural separation between private rest and shared time.
For example
– Hosts or organizers may stay at Kaguya-tei
– Participants may stay in Jomon Matama
– Shared activities can take place in the main space
All uses are arranged on a private basis and tailored to the needs of each group.
