これからのまたま村について

みなさまいかがお過ごしでしょうか？
本日は一粒万倍日。
一粒の種が万倍になると言われているこの日より
新たな形でFB再開いたします。

三年前にカフェを閉鎖してから世の中いろんなことがありました。
みなさまにとってもいろいろなことがあった三年間だったことでしょう。

「なんでカフェをやらないんですか？」
そんな声をたくさんいただきました。

実はパンデミックが起きる一年くらい前から
私は運営方法を見直したいと強く思っていました。

カフェは楽しいし、たくさんのお客さんに喜んでもらえるので
とてもやりがいのあるお仕事でした。
みなさまのおかげで２４年間続けてこれました。

けれどもお客様がたくさん来ればそれだけ出る大量のゴミ、
そしてやってもやっても朽ちてくる葦ぶき屋根の補修とその維持費。
心の奥底で歯痒さを感じながらも、目の前のことに一生懸命で
時間だけがあっという間に過ぎていきました。

そんな時、突然世の中の風向きががらりと変わりました。
飲食として続けることには限界を感じていた時だったので
運営をもう一度見直すいい機会となりました。

でも、いざカフェをやめてみたものの
何をやればいいのか、これからどのようにここを維持して

いけばいいのか正直わからず、途方に暮れていました。

大量消費、大量生産ではなく、よりシンプルに
より縄文人の生き方に戻る方向へシフトチェンジしていく
必要があると感じました。

縄文人が１５０００年くらい平和な時代が続いたのは
暮らしの中に「愛と調和」があったからです。

私たちの今の世の中は欠乏感と分離感を助長させる情報や
さまざまな誘惑などで満ち溢れています。

目に見えない根っここそ重要な部分なのに
目に見えることばかりとらわれて、今この国の根っこは腐りかけて
大木が倒れそうな状態になっていると感じているのは私だけでは
ないと思います。

衣食住を見直し、
人と人が心と心でしっかりつながり、
目に見えないつながりや恵みに感謝する心を育み
私たちはもう一度縄文人の「愛と調和」の生き方に立ち戻る
必要があるのではないでしょうか？

そんなわけで三年間試行錯誤していましたが、
この場所をもう一度人と人が心と心でつながり、
美しい日本の心を取り戻せる憩いの場所として
復活させます。


まだま村からまたま村へ。
磨く魂のまだま村から
真（本当）の魂に戻るまたま村へ。


この場所で一人一人が愛と調和のうねりを作りだし、
命の輝きを放ち、魂から自分を表現できる場所として
ここに最後の希望の旗を立てたいと思います。

Since closing the café three years ago, various things have happened in the world. It must have been a period full of different experiences for everyone.

“Why don’t you run the café anymore?” We received many voices asking that.

Actually, about a year before the pandemic hit, I strongly felt the need to reassess our operations. Running the café was enjoyable, and it was a fulfilling job that brought joy to many customers. Thanks to all of you, we were able to continue for 24 years.

However, with an increasing number of customers came a large amount of waste and the constant need for repairs and maintenance of the decaying thatched roof. Despite feeling a sense of frustration deep in my heart, I focused on the present tasks, and time flew by quickly.

During that time, the winds of the world suddenly changed. It was the right moment to reevaluate our operations as I was already feeling the limitations of continuing as a food and beverage establishment.

However, once I stopped running the café, I honestly didn’t know what to do next or how to sustain this place. I felt lost.

I realized that we needed to shift our focus from mass consumption and production to a simpler and more Jomon-inspired way of living. The peaceful era of the Jomon people lasting for about 15,000 years was due to the presence of “love and harmony” in their lives.

Our current world is filled with information that fosters a sense of lack and separation, along with various temptations. We tend to be fixated on what is visible, neglecting the importance of what is invisible. I believe that I’m not the only one who feels that the roots of this country are decaying, and the great tree is on the verge of falling.

By reevaluating our clothing, food, and shelter, by fostering connections between people’s hearts and minds, and by cultivating a sense of gratitude for invisible connections and blessings, we need to return to the Jomon way of life based on “love and harmony.”

After three years of trial and error, I will revive this place as a sanctuary where people can once again connect heart to heart and reclaim the beautiful spirit of Japan.

From Matama Village to Matama Village, from the soul of Matama that continues to polish itself, to the true soul of Matama.

In this place, where each individual creates a wave of love and harmony, radiating the brilliance of life and expressing themselves from the depths of their souls, I want to raise the flag of final hope.
